Hi there! We’re Michael and Sarah—just a couple of passionate filmmakers and a married duo. We split our time between sunny Los Angeles and beautiful Rome.
Before starting Cello Films, we spent fifteen years in the film industry. Sarah was a non-fiction and documentary producer. Michael worked as an editor and cinematographer. Our work has made its way onto networks like CBS, NBC, and National Geographic.
Then, we had our own destination wedding. Soon after, our son was born. That’s when we decided to create a family business. We even named it after our son’s nickname—“Cello.”
Living in Italy and working in Hollywood taught us something special: how to tell beautiful stories. Our films blend stunning visuals with a touch of romance.
